Matthew 25: 40 says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.”

Our mission is to empower the people of God with opportunities to join Christ's work in their local community.  If you are actively connected to a local Christian church, please reach out! We'd love to connect you with opportunities to serve and share God's love through your actions. You will be serving on behalf of your local church, not a "VIS Volunteer."

VIS loves to connect people who love Jesus and love to serve their neighbors with opportunities to serve in the community so that Christ' love can be shared and the Kingdom of God can be built up! 

VIS learns about opportunities to serve through referrals from local social service agencies and health care organizations. Click below for a description of the types of service opportunities we regularly connect volunteers with across Kent County.
