VIS is offering two opportunities to participate in Deacon Training.

- Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6:30-8:30pm

Join Volunteers In Service as a new or returning deacon to review the role and responsibilities of deacons. This training serves as an orientation or refresher for deacons as we explore the heart posture of "leading through service." The training will cover the following areas of responsibility:
- Benevolence
- Stewardship
- Justice and Mercy
- Community Ministry
It will also highlight strategies for mobilizing your congregation to serve within and outside of your congregation.
