It is Biblical to take care of the physical needs of people around us. In responding to needs, do we take the opportunity to share the gospel? Do we view people as problems to solve or opportunities from God to love and embrace? Duke Gray, VIS trainer, will facilitate a three week training on how to love, serve and embrace people around us for the sake of growing the kingdom. ACCESS of West Michigan will be joining the conversation on Week 2. Below are the topics covered in this training:
Week 1: The Biblical Foundation of Benevolence – It’s God stuff, not us stuff!
Week 2: Access of West Michigan-Understanding a Life of Poverty
Week 3: Guide But Don’t Decide
Trainings will be held on Tuesday evenings, April 10, April 17, and April 24 and are from 6:30-8:30pm. The location is Kentwood Community Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids MI 49508.
